e-CAM130_CUXVR Vision Kit: Four 4K Cameras Driven by Jetson AGX Xavier
E-Con has launched its first camera kit based on Nvidia’s latest, Linux-powered Jetson AGX Xavier module: the e-CAM130_CUXVR robotics vision kit.
The kit includes a V4L2 Linux driver, Gstreamer 1.0, and sample code, and is designed primarily for end-to-end AI robotics applications.
With powerful processing capabilities and high number of camera support, the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Xavier development kit is ideal for developing high-end multimedia devices in a small form factor. Since it’s powered by the NVIDIA Xavier processor, you now have more than 20X performance and 10X energy efficiency of its predecessor, the NVIDIA Jetson TX2, that will open up ways for applications which are beyond our imaginations.
The e-CAM130_CUXVR multiple camera solution uses four 4-lane MIPI cameras to stream 4K resolution at 30 fps in a synchronized manner
Each camera is based on the camera module e-CAM137_CUMI1335_MOD, with an ISP and a 1/3.2″ AR1335 color CMOS image sensor from ON Semiconductor. Other features include 4700 e/lux-sec responsivity, 37 dB SNR, 69 dB dynamic range, and support for async transfers.
The e-CAM130_CUXVR is available at an $80 discount through Feb. 7 except for the single-board version.
